It might come as a shock but I'm not the only counselor in the Baton Rouge area. You might have been given my name from a friend or colleague, recommended by your doctor or even stumbled upon my website after googling "infertility/miscarriage/postpartum depression counselors in Baton Rouge ". Either way,  I hope you are being picky. You're taking the first step by acknowledging you need help but it's just as important to find someone that you are comfortable in letting help you. 

It will take a few visits to really get a feel for how well we can work together. I want the best for you so if we aren't a good match, I will be more than happy to try and find a better one for you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LA# 4635) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (#PSI2004). You can verify my license here. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University in 2005 and obtained my Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern University A&M in 2009. I've worked with children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a primary focus on depression, anxiety, infertility, pregnancy loss and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
